Privacy

We do not track you.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts and makes no requests to any other domain. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

It would be strange to build a product whose central premise is that nobody can be enrolled without their knowledge, and then instrument the website that describes it. So we have not.

What is collected

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server information when a page is requested: IP address, timestamp, the page requested, and browser user agent. This is ordinary infrastructure logging, retained by the host on its own schedule, and we do not build profiles from it or connect it to anything else.
  • Email you send us. If you write to hello@pyxaris.com, we hold that message and your address in order to reply. Mail to that address is forwarded to the founders' personal mailboxes.

That is the complete list. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no tracking pixels and no advertising identifiers, because the site has no feature that would need any of them.

Legal basis and your rights

Where the GDPR applies, our basis for holding correspondence is legitimate interest in replying to you, and for server logs, legitimate interest in operating and securing the site. Where Canadian privacy law applies, the same activities are covered by implied consent for the purpose of responding to an enquiry.

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. For correspondence we can do all three, and we will. Write to hello@pyxaris.com and we will respond within thirty days. Server logs sit with our hosting provider and we do not control their retention schedule.

Who is responsible

Pyxaris is a founding team rather than an incorporated entity at present. Murat Beshtoev and Elena Shchetinina are jointly responsible for the data described above, and can be reached at hello@pyxaris.com. We are based in Toronto, Canada. This page will be updated to name the company once it is incorporated.

Third parties

Two providers are involved in running this site: our domain registrar and static host, and the mail provider that forwards hello@pyxaris.com. Neither receives anything from us beyond what is required to serve the pages and deliver the mail. We do not sell, rent or share personal information with anyone, and there is no arrangement under which we would.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will change the date below. It is a short page and we intend to keep it that way.
